Electrical Design Engineer

Job Description

  • Design electrical systems of projects and to lead a team of draftsmen.
  • Designs all electrical systems including power, lighting, extra low voltage systems.
  • Prepare all systems details such as schematics, calculations, schedules and connections details.
  • Coordinate for with other departments for all project stages including concept design, preliminary design, detail design and approval.
  • Prepare full specifications for all power and extra low voltage systems.
  • Follow-up with the updated requirements from departments for implementation.
  • Participate in project discussions with departments
  • Check CAD drafting as and when required.
  • Supervises a team of Electrical Draftsmen.
  • Conduct sites visits and assessment, as required to execute design work.
  • Keep records and documents for projects handled.
  • Develop a holistic approach of integrating whole systems in a 3D Digital environment, facilitating digital information shared for engineering analysis and digitally-driven design for buildings using Revit MEP.
  • Generate a CLASH REPORT (by Revit MEP & Navisworks) that can be communicated with other AEB Department and can be distributed to the extended drafting team for clash resolution.
  • Confer with Directors, Project Managers, Structural and Architecture departments and other engineers to collectively ensure requirements of projects are met.
  • Liaise with governmental departments for necessary approvals.

Skills

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • High level of accuracy, planning and organizing, problem solving.

Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Description

  • Handle LV switchgear systems & components projects support in the assigned territory, work closely with different sizes of MEP contractors , consultants & end users on all LV switchgear leads, provide technical support on offers through franchised or authorized panel builders.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction for LV switchgear systems & components and ensure growth in the defined region. 
  • Develop a proven record of achievements in projects LV switchgear business through channels and end customers.
  • Support all aspects of the relationship with assigned contractors, consultants & end users within the assigned area of responsibility. Conduct customers calls / visits & report the same through CRM.
  • Follow projects and support through panel builders / EOEMs
  • Promote LV switchgear Eaton solution.
  • Initiate the business relation with new customers in targeted business segments.
  • Build a strong LV switchgear projects opportunities record.
  • Be aware of and responsive to market conditions and competitor activities. 
  • Maintain a co-operative and credible working relationship with other company personnel to assure customer satisfaction.
  • Support total quality effort by
    • Providing timely and accurate information for existing and upcoming opportunities
    • Elevating quality issues to attention of management
    • Ensure that accurate information flows to and from customers
  • Collect, analyze and utilize market intelligence data on products, market needs and preferences of customers.
  • Provide necessary reports and surveys requested by management. 

 

Skills

  • University Degree in Electrical engineering.
  • Three to five years electrical engineering experience.
  • Experience in LV switchgear business, and LV breakers / components
  • Understand the need for effective communications inside and outside the company.
  • Demonstrates sound knowledge of the assigned market & channels including product information.
