Job Description

  • Report to the Head of Department, to teach Mechanical Engineering based subjects to national students who are on the Diploma of Engineering Technology Programme.
  • Responsible for the delivery of the accredited curriculum.
  • Assess students performance in accordance with the policies to ensure the quality of teaching and learning is maintained.

Skills

  • Relevant vocational teaching or training experience.
  • Ability to teach some of the following: machining & hand skills, welding, mechanical maintenance, thermodynamics & heat transfer, fluid mechanics, CAD, hydraulics & pneumatics and materials technology.
  • IT skills
  • Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochemical / Desalination / maintenance experience is a plus.
  • Practical experience in welding, maintaining rotating and static equipment, repair of pumps/ compressors/valves.
  • Competency based teaching or training experience.

Educational Consultant

Job Description

  • Conduct professional development workshops, coaching and observation sessions for teachers in addition to support school administrators in private schools across the GCC.
  • Advise on school improvement plans, developing all staff and schools preparations to excel during the inspection process.
  • Contribute to the design, implementation and evaluation of professional development programs.
  • Deliver professional development sessions as needed (including weekends, after school, during school hours, and online).
  • Conduct teaching observations and coaching as needed and provide feedback for ongoing reflective practice.
  • Complete individualized performance appraisals of teachers over the span of training modules as needed.
  • Contribute to the company thought-leadership activities by contributing content and facilitating seminars.

Skills

  • Extensive teaching experience.
  • Extensive experience in facilitating professional development - through training and coaching.
  • Experience in developing professional development programs based on clusters and teachers needs.
  • Teaching credentials (Bachelor of Education or equivalent)
  • Graduate degree in education (Masters of Education) is preferable.
  • Ability to integrate technology based instructional approaches within professional development.
